Targeted killings in Pakistan

By Jason Ralph

It now appears that the recent killing of Pakistan’s Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud was the result of another CIA Predator drone strike. These strikes are controversial in many ways and they raise legal and ethical issues that we address in my module International Law and Ethics in the War on Terror.  Students, and any interested reader, may find this post from Kenneth Andersonat Opinio Juris to be particularly helpful.
